1March 30th, 2013 - Over the weekend the team competed in the last meeting for the season at the Perth Motorplex. Jay had an interesting couple of heat races. In the first race he started 6th and ran 9th, and in the next one he started 5th and ran 11th. In both heats the team battled unknown handling issues on the car, which resulted in Cardy starting 11th in the feature. In the main event the car was spot on as he raced from 11th to 4th in the first lap. At the end of the race Jay scored a 2nd place finish, which marked another top 3 placing for the year. A great result and a great way to end the season on a high note.
This second place finish was good enough to get Cardy into 3rd place in points for the season in the Pro Dirt Series and 4th in the Motorplex Track Championship, so it was another successful season.

Cardy is quick to note his appreciation for his great sponsors. He comments, " I could not do it without all the support of my loyal sponsors who give me the opportunity to compete at the highest level in Australian Speedway."

The team now shifts their focus to next season which will start in early October. Jay have a new car which he will debut at the start of the season. The team is going for a blue and white theme to mix it up a bit for the new car, and they will keep this year's car red and white. The team's motor will be sent back to Draime Engines in Massilion, Ohio to be rebuilt and refreshed so it is ready for another 1200 laps.

1March 9th, 2013 - Over the weekend the team raced at the Perth Motorplex. Jay started the first heat race in the second position and went on to claim the win. In the second heat he started the thirteenth and finished sixth. Cardy started the feature race fourth, but at the start got caught behind a slower car, which shuffled him back to the eleventh position after the first corner. The car was fast and Cardy was good enough to get back to a fifth place finish on a super slick track.
Jay's performance was good enough to move him to 3rd in the Pro Dirt Series points with one round to go.
