November 10th, 2012 - Jay was back in action over the weekend as they traveled to Kalgoorlie Speedway (Kalgoorlie, Western Australia) for an event. In the first heat race he started fourth and finished third before starting the second heat race on the pole and claiming the heat win.

His heat finishes locked Jay into the fourth starting spot for the dash, and he would finish in the fourth position, which secured him the fourth starting spot for the main event. Early in the feature Cardy races his way into the third spot and was battling for second, when he slipped back to the fifth spot while trying to make the pass for the runner-up spot. He would go on to finish in the fifth place.

The team now has a two week break before traveling to Bunbury. Jay currently leads the Kwinana Track Championship standings by twenty-one markers and also leads the Pro Dirt Series standings by three points.

1November 7th, 2012 - Last Saturday night the scheduled event at Perth Motorplex was cancelled due to rain, and it was rescheduled to be run last night. It was the annual tribute race to Michael Figliomeni, a champion driver who passed away six years ago.
Jay started the first race in tenth and ran fourth, and he started the second race in third and finished second. This resulted in Cardy starting in the third position starting spot for the feature, but unfortunately during the Sprint Car feature race one of the cars flipped and damaged the fence cancelling the remainder of the event.
It is currently unsure if the race will be run at the start of the next meeting or it will be cancelled or the results will be given from the feature starting positions.
Cardy Motorsports now heads to Kalgoorlie on Saturday night for Round #4 of the Pro Dirt Series.
